Murmuration
2020 / 2021
The name murmuration comes from the sound that comes from all the starlings coming together in their unique flight pattern. As one of the reasons they are believed to form is to communicate. In exploring how we are creating a continuation of that communication when we document and share them digitally, I played with looped footage of the puppet, playing and repeating, copy and pasting to see how this communication could visually translate to the digital medium.
